Survey on Traditional, Folk and Global (TFG) Music in HMEIs

The AEC Traditional, Folk, and Global Music Working Group (TFG WG) has launched a survey exploring how music of nationally, ethnically, regionally, or culturally distinct traditions (often referred to as Folk, Roots, or Traditional music) is represented and supported in higher music education institutions (HMEIs).

The survey focuses on institutional and collaborative practices, community engagement, research activity, and the professional development of practitioners within formal academic settings.

Responses can be submitted until December 8th.
