AEC and ELIA have strengthened cooperation in recent years, which has increasingly manifested in concrete projects such as the AEC – Empowering Artists as Makers in Society (ARTEMIS) project, where ELIA representatives play a critical role within the advocacy actions, and FAST45 – Futures Art School Trends 2045 as a committed partner (see Futures (Un)Known, co-organised by AEC and ELIA last month).
Since 2019, institutions that are members of both AEC and ELIA are eligible to apply for a 10% discount on their membership fee invoices to both organisations. For institutions applying for the first time, the discount is available only upon request. Institutions that were granted the discount last year are kindly requested to send a confirmation email with the updated number of students for the academic year 2023-2024 to both organisations, together with an evidence of their affiliation (i.e. membership fee invoices from last year).
Please note institutions that are members of both AEC and ELIA may apply to both offices to require the double membership discount by 1st April 2024 at the latest. More information on the application procedure and the conditions are available here.
Furthermore, we kindly remind all our members that on 15-16 January, the AEC membership fee invoices for 2024 were sent. May we please advise you to check your spam folder and contact Alfonso Guerra at alfonsoguerra@aec-music.eu should you encounter any problem when opening the PDF file. Please note the fare has been calculated based on the updated number of students communicated to the AEC office for this academic year, and that an early bird rate applies for fees received before 1st April 2024.
