The aim of the competition is to encourage the motivation and affirmation of young artists, as well as to encourage their personal creative potentials through performing.
The competition, organized by the Faculty of Arts in Niš, will be held at the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom.
The Competitors will be evaluated by the following international jury members: Pierre Sublet – Chairman (Faculty of Arts in Bern, Switzerland), Jordi Camell (Catalan Music University, Barcelona, Spain), Dianna Vasiu-Luminiţa (Faculty of Music and Theater Arts, Timisoara, Romania), Jelena Simonović Kovačević (Academy of Arts Novi Sad, Serbia), Dragan Jovanović (Faculty of Arts in Niš, Serbia), Nataša Cvetković (Faculty of Arts in Niš, Serbia) and Dragan Tomić, jury member within performing author compositions (Faculty of Arts in Niš, Serbia).
The Competition Opening will be held on Friday, 31st May 2019, at 7 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, featuring pianists Pierre Sublet from Switzerland and Diana Vasiu-Luminiţa from Romania.
On Saturday, 1st June 2019 at 8 pm, the concert will be held by pianists Jordi Camell from Spain and Jelena Simonović Kovačević from Novi Sad, Serbia.
The entrance to the concerts is free.
After the participants awarding ceremony, this year's Competition awarded students will perform at the Competition Closing ceremony, on Sunday, 2nd June 2019.
