Integral to the Faculty of Music are the learning opportunities provided by the Composition/Instrumental/Vocal Departments, who deliver core learning across each of eight Departments within the Faculty. This tuition includes Principal Study and where appropriate Chamber music coaching and the delivery of Department classes which cover a broad range of topics. Staff are also from time to time involved in both chamber and orchestral side-by-side projects. The team of Principal Study teaching staff exemplify the multi-faceted skillset of modern, international creative musicians and thus provide important exemplars for students.
The Faculty of Music is seeking to appoint a distinguished, committed, and versatile candidate to contribute to the teaching of the following discipline at all study levels (undergraduate to postgraduate) on an hourly paid basis from September 2024:
Violin
The successful candidate will be a widely recognised and respected performer with significant experience and with a distinguished record in teaching/delivering masterclasses/other relevant learning opportunities within the conservatoire sector or higher education sector widely.
You will also demonstrate outstanding communication and organisational skills and the capability to deal with a busy and varied workload, within a highly creative environment. Applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged.

Salary: £43.82- £51.43 per hour depending on experience
