Senior Artist for Accompaniment

Your Responsibilities

· Accompaniment in various major classes, at class recitals, and at concerts held both within and outside the institute

· Independently conducting courses and administering exams

· Mentoring students

· Assisting with tasks related to the development and promotion of the arts, as well as with teaching duties assigned to the organizational unit to which they are assigned

· Assisting with exams

· Assisting with organizational and administrative tasks, as well as evaluation measures

Your Profile

· A degree in an artistic field (diploma) relevant to the position, or proof of artistic aptitude comparable to such a degree. This proof must be provided in the form of documentation of at least three years of relevant professional experience, either as an employee or as a self-employed artist.

· Knowledge of the repertoire for wind, string, and percussion instruments

· Ability to work in a team

· Organizational skills

· Willingness to work flexible hours

· Sensitivity in addressing issues of gender, diversity, and sustainability

Please note that proficiency in German at least at the B2 level is a prerequisite for any potential extension of the contract to an indefinite term by mutual agreement.

Contract

· The employment relationship is limited to 2 years, with an option for renewal by mutual agreement.

· Workload: Part-time employment at 85% of a full-time position

·The workload may be increased by mutual agreement as needed.

· Compensation: The minimum monthly salary for this position is currently €3,209.68 gross (paid 14 times a year, classified in accordance with § 26 of the Universities Collective Bargaining Agreement) and may be increased, if applicable, based on the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement by crediting prior experience specific to the position.
