The Annual IN.TUNE Research in Education Event (AIRE) is one of IN.TUNE’s key meeting points for strengthening the links between research and (higher) music and arts education across the alliance. Now in its second edition, AIRE 2026 brings staff and students together to share experience, compare approaches, and build new collaborations that connect research education, supervision, and teaching practice.
Where: Norwegian Academy of Music (Norges musikkhøgskole), Oslo
When: Wednesday 8 April 2026 (12:00 noon) to Thursday 9 April 2026 (12:00 noon)

- Reflect on challenges and differing institutional frameworks
- Discuss how responsibilities and roles are shaped and shared
- Explore approaches that connect artistic and academic research with teaching and learning
- Learn from the perspectives of both staff and students, across diverse traditions and contexts
