Bachelor in Performing Rhythmic Music (URM)
This program focuses on developing your unique musical identity as a musician, producer, songwriter and artist. Through a holistic approach, the course gives you solid tools to thrive as a performing musician. Our students are actively engaged in Oslo's vibrant music scene, and the program gives you a broad network within the music industry.
Bachelor in Performing Music (MML)
This unique study combines performing rhythmic music with concrete job opportunities. You actually achieve two bachelor's degrees in four years: one in Performing Music (UM) and an integrated bachelor's in Music, Congregation and Leadership (MML). There are also opportunities to choose specific subject combinations that also give you the title of cantor.
Master in Performing Music
The purpose of the master's degree in performing music is to give students the opportunity to immerse themselves in their own musical projects in order to develop new knowledge and competence. Emphasis is placed on further developing the student's performing skills and using these skills in practical professional practice.
Annual studies
- Performing Music with Songwriting
On the one-year course in performing music with specialization in songwriting, we focus mainly on developing your skills in songwriting and performing music.
- Performing Music with specialization in Choral Conducting
A year's study in performing music with specialization in choral conducting (UMK) is for you who want to develop as a choir leader, especially within the rhythmic genre.
- Annual study in performing music, worship leadership
Through a year's study in worship leadership, you will be equipped for music work in congregations, and to lead congregations in song.
- Performing Music and Music Didactics
At "Performing music and music didactics", we mainly focus on developing your skills in performing music. This will also be put into a music didactic context so that you can use your skills towards a possible further teaching and teaching career.
