General Information
The PESMD is a Higher Education Institution. The PESMD is a partner of the University of Bordeaux and of the city of Bordeaux.
The PESMD is an active member of the European Association of Conservatoires (AEC): within this association partnerships have already been established with numerous European institutions.
According to the French Higher education system, the music department offers two programmes:
DNSPM / Licence : Bachelor in performance
DE (Diplôme d'État) : Bachelor in pedagogy (instrumental and vocal teacher training)
According to the French Higher education system, the dance department offers one programme:
DE (Diplôme d'État) : Bachelor in pedagogy (classic, jazz or modern dance teacher training) in partnership with the University of Bordeaux Montaigne.
