General Information
RésoNAnces was founded in 2026 through the merger of the Higher Education Center for Music and Dance (PESMD) in Bordeaux, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and the pôle Aliénor in Poitiers. It is now located at two sites in Bordeaux and Poitiers, where it welcoms approximately 200 students in its undergraduate programs.
Accredited by the French ministry of Culture, RésoNAnces trains performing artists and state-certified music and dance teachers. It also supports performing arts professionals in their lifelong learning journeys and offers certification programs through vocational training.
RésoNAnces’ mission is embedded in regional, national, and international initiatives through numerous artistic partnerships (operas, orchestras, festivals, professional ensembles, national venues, contemporary music venues, etc.) and educational partnerships (colleges, conservatories, and music schools, etc.). The institution holds the Erasmus+ Charter, which is one of the cornerstones of its international outreach.
