The Creative Europe Opera Out of Opera Project, coordinated by Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome in partnership with AEC, University Mozarteum Salzburg, Petit Opera du Monde Arts-on in Athens, and Opera da Camara de Navarra in Pamplona, managed to successfully end its cycle of opera performances in unusual places with two final shows at the Sala de Exposiciones de Baluarte in Pamplona and the shopping mall Europark in Salzburg. The performances took place on 29th February and 7th March, right before the coronavirus lockdowns!

The legacy of the project, besides the wonderful cooperation established between partners and the first contact made by hundreds of people with the world of opera, is the Opera Out of Opera App for smartphones, that has assured live digital interaction with the audience during the performances and now remains active and available for download in the Apple Store and Google Play. The app includes the video of the whole show produced during the project, short videos and the librettos of all arias (translated in 4 languages), explanation of the contexts, information on the operas, a voting system to choose your favourite aria and a questionnaire to know the opinion of the users.
