We are pleased to announce that the AEC Pop and Jazz Platform (PJP) Preparatory Working Group is looking for a new Working Group member. The main activity of the Pop and Jazz Platform (PJP) WG is to plan and organise the content of the annual Pop and Jazz Platform meeting taking place in February each year. The work of the group is carried out in cooperation with the AEC Office and the AEC Council.
The call is open to staff members of any AEC active member institution* involved in the pop, jazz, traditional, folk, world, or electronic music education.
We welcome applications from individuals of all genders, backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, sexual orientations, ages, and abilities, and strongly value diversity within the group. Applications that contribute to greater gender diversity are particularly encouraged. Before applying, the candidates are encouraged to read the General and Specific Terms of Reference, as well as the documents and webpages they refer to.
To apply, candidates should send their CV, motivation letter, support letter from the legal representative of the institution and identity statement to beatrizlaborda@aec-music.eu. The deadline to apply is 31 May.
The decision on the appointment will be made by a selection committee consisting of members of the PJP WG and the AEC Office. It will take into account the geographical origin, expertise and gender, to ensure balance in the WG.
