In order to support the conference and foster cooperation between specialist, REMA is launching a call for posters, for all researchers and research departments active in a field relevant to Early Music.
If your work can impact the future of performance practice, musicology, audience development, instrument making, pedagogy, edition, do not hesitate to apply for Poster session! The Poster session will be a part of the EARLY MUSIC SUMMIT, held online from 20 to 22 November. The session will be a great opportunity to network with peers from all countries and all branches, and to raise recognition of Early Music research.

To apply:

  • Send the title and a short description (max. 500 words) of your research project by 19 October 2020 to projects@rema-eemn.net
  • If your project is selected, work on the visual presentation and send the final poster before 10 November.

The selected participants will be invited to present their research online:

  • Saturday 21 November – 11 am-12.30 pm = one-on-one blind dates with peers
  • Saturday 21 November – 2.30-3.30 pm (CET) = "online booths" with video chat with visitors (participants from the Early Music Summit)
  • From 20 to 22 November, the posters will be uploaded in a Facebook album where the authors can answer questions from the general audience.

The final selection shall reflect the ongoing research that will shape the sector’s future. 

The deadline for sending the draft has been extended to 19 October to give potential applicants more time to spark their creativity and prepare high quality posters. Also, poster session participants will be granted free access to the rest of the Summit's events.
