The AEC European Platform for Artistic Research in Music (EPARM) will take place at the Gheorghe Dima Academy of Music in Cluj Napoca (Romania) on 28-30 March 2019.

A Call for Proposals has been published on the webpage of the event, where a draft programme of the conference, as well as information about accommodation, is already available. Presentations relating to any aspect of artistic research in music are welcome.

NEW! To reflect the centrality of performance in artistic research, besides the usual programme featuring plenary and parallel sessions (the latter selected through this Call for Proposals) this year the event will include a special evening programme (L8nite Performances) of performance and discussion. Proposals for short performances of a maximum of 30 minutes (outcomes of artistic research) are welcome for this evening programme.

The deadline for submission is 14 January 2019. Completed submissions must be sent to AEC Events Manager Sara Primiterra using the compulsory templates available in the Photo's and Documents Section of the conference webpage, where online registrations to the event (compulsory to attend the conference) will open on January 31.
