The Jazz research journal JAZZ-HITZ has extended the deadline to receive proposals of articles for the 7th issue.
Jazz-hitz is a jazz music research journal promoted by the Jazz Department of Musikene, Higher School of Music of the Basque Country, that aims to publish scientific works related to that music style understood from a very wide perspective.
The journal is born with a vocation for continuity as an annual journal with the desire to be of interest for the international community, which is the reason why it opens its doors to collaborations from different countries and diverse languages.
The journal’s articles can cover a wide range of topics about jazz (history, analysis, sociological perspectives, etc.) and they can be written in any of the languages used in the international scientific community.
The authors interested in the publication of articles in the 7th issue of Jazz-hitz should send an abstract (60 words) before December 20, 2023 to the following electronic address: jazz-hitz@musikene.net
Once the Editorial Board analyses the proposals and decides the approval, the full text will be sent to the same electronic address before February 1, 2024.
