This conference is open to music teachers, researchers, and artists — anyone engaged with artistic practice, music education, or related research. Whether you are based in academia, active in the field, or working across both worlds, you are warmly invited to join us.

What to expect

The conference will bring together confirmed speakers and participants for three days of presentations, artistic exchanges, and collaborative dialogue around the themes of d@rts — dialoguing arts in higher music and arts education.

The programme includes a wide range of topics from music education, ethnomusicology, dance studies, sociology or heritage studies. The Klagenfurt-based transcultural music ensemble „(Re)shape“ will provide spaces for creative impulses.

Cost of participation

This event is free. However, a catering contribution will be charged upon arrival.

80 € (standard fee)
50 € (reduction for d@rts members only)
30 € (students only)

No fee for invited speakers, keynotes and acts.

Payment is made upon arrival by invoice, issued directly by the university administration. d@rts members may seek reimbursement of this cost through their usual travel and subsistence allowance.
