A new system is coming soon!
As announced in previous communications, Dreamapply will shut down the current EASY system in one year. Therefore, the AEC has selected another platform, Mobility Online by SoP, already used by some AEC member institutions (mdw in Vienna, Royal Conservatoire in Antwerp, etc.), to continue providing a common and centrally controlled online application system tailored to the needs of higher music education institutions.
The new system will guarantee a standard workflow, an up-to-date connection to Erasmus Without Papers, compliance with its standards and additional features to manage mobility actions (i.e.Interinstitutional Agreements and more). In the coming months, the AEC office and the EASY Task Force will work to adapt and fine-tune the platform offered by SoP to the needs of EASY’s users. Any suggestions and feedback from the AEC members are welcome.
The idea is to use the system by Dreamapply until the end of May and start using Mobility Online in a trial but fully functioning mode as of June 1st, 2023. Institutions joining EASY for the academic year 2022/23 will therefore have full access and support for EASY by Dreamapply until the end of May and, if they wish, join the new system and have access to all support and training opportunities without any additional fee from 1st June until the end of 2023. The use of the system by Dreamapply after May 31st is discouraged (no technical support will be provided) but possible until the end of 2023. In January 2024, an official call to join the new system will be issued. We are not able at this stage to give you a precise amount for the 2024 fees, but we can already tell you that it will not be more expensive than the current system.
Information about the Learning Agreement
Unless a different decision is taken by the European Commission in the coming weeks, we would like to remind you that, as of 1st January 2023, only OLA or Learning Agreements connected with the Dashboard will be accepted by several National Agencies as official Erasmus Learning Agreements. Therefore, the LAs produced with the Dream Agreement tool by Dreamapply will not be official anymore for several NAs. Concerned EASY users will have to use OLA/Dashboard to produce, sign and exchange official Learning Agreements. When the new system will be in place, the LA tool included in the new system will be fully compliant and connected with Erasmus Without Paper.

The fee includes the full use+support of Dreamapply’s system until 31st May (and access to it until the end of the year) and the optional trial of the new EASY Mobility Online by SoP as of 1st June Dreamapply’s system will be officially shut down in December 2023.
