HarMA+ Transnational Project Meeting in Leipzig

On 17-18 June, the second HarMA+ Transnational Project Meeting took place at Hochschule für Musik und Theater »Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy« Leipzig, Germany, resuming AEC’s travel activities since the pandemic. The project, tackling the question of the transfer of practices and methodologies for music theory courses between higher music education institutions, gathered all partners for the first time in a hybrid format. The partners presented the latest developments of their respective intellectual outputs.

AEC, as coordinator of the communication, dissemination activities and external evaluation, delivered a presentation on dissemination strategies, aimed at communicating and disseminating the project activities and intellectual outputs to the music theory departments in higher music education institutions.

Furthermore, a HarMA+ dissemination event will be organised in the frame of the next AEC Annual Congress and General Assembly 2021 in Antwerp, Belgium, in which an EU Bibliography on Music Theory courses will be presented by Akademia Muzyczna im. Stanislawa Moniuszki w Gdansku.

HarMA+ is a strategic partnership funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme and coordinated by Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles.
