CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

 
Within the framework of INTERMUSIC project (Interactive Environment for MUSIC learning and practicing), the Milan “G.Verdi” Conservatoire of Music is organizing an International conference on Distance Learning in the Higher Music Education Sector on the 2nd of February 2018.

INTERMUSIC is a project funded by the Erasmus + National Agency under the KA203 Strategic Partnership action, coordinated by the Conservatory of Music G.Verdi in Milan and its partners: Royal Danish Academy of Music (RDAM) Copenhagen, Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (LMTA) Vilnius, Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi) and AEC.

The conference will focus on implementation of distance training in Higher Music Education Institutions and will address the following issues:

  • Distance Learning evolution in the current landscape (Blended Learning, Virtual Learning Environment, Cooperative Learning;
  • Distance Learning Experiences in Higher Music Education Institutions;
  • Design of eLearning courses developed in the MOODLE environment for Higher Music Education Institutions;
  • Distance Music Coaching;
  • Network Music Interaction (Virtual Music Concert and Distance Music Rehearsals);
  • Network Music Composition.
Contributions in the form of presentations (maximum length 5000 characters and maximum duration of 8 minutes), articles, posters, can be submitted no later than December 15, 2017.

All contributions will be collected in the Acts of the Conference and during the day there will be a space dedicated to the presentation of selected contributions.
