The LATIMPE platform aims to be a place where students, teachers and researchers in higher music education meet, exchange ideas about learning and teaching and where new collaborations and projects start.
In October 2018, LATIMPE hosted the first Learning & Teaching Platform at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. The event was a great success, both in terms of number of participants, as well as quality and variety of the contributions.
In this second platform, on 13-14 May 2020 in Vienna, the digital impact of learning and teaching will be in the spotlight, although contributors are also warmly welcomed to address other topical approaches to learning and teaching in music performance education. The second day of the platform will be organised together with the SWING project.

Deadline for submission of abstracts is 10 December 2019.

Proposals will be accepted based on their relevance to the conference theme, their significance, and originality. In particular, submissions from students and proposals incorporating live music-making will be prioritised.
