The Let’s Get Digital! competition is organised by mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and is looking for hybrid concert formats that involve the audience in an outstanding way and explore the added value of digitality in depth.
What is being sought?
The submitted format should target teenagers and young adults up to 30 years of age and appeal to people of different (music-) cultural socialization. The audience should be actively involved and able to participate in the course of the concert, which should last a maximum of 60 to 70 minutes. The hybrid concert will take place in the 2022/23 season as part of a subscription cycle for U30 audiences in the Berio Hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus. Audiences will participate both on-site and via stream.
Who can apply?
Chamber music ensembles up to a maximum of quintets, whose musicians are not older than 30 years.
