Música Creativa – New Bachelor Degree in Music Composition

An official title addressing current needs of the industry, for which music compositors not only must master different music styles (classic and contemporary languages, jazz, song writing, sound design, electronics etc.) but also the latest technological tools involved in the new forms of composing, recording and producing.

Practice-oriented

This Bachelor Degree in Composition is practice-oriented, which means you will be composing, producing and recording from day one. As a result of the 4-years degree, you will have developed a personal portfolio counting with the performances of high level music professionals:

Música Creativa students, specialised in Contemporary music: high level performers with whom you will share the building facilities and collaborate in professional projects;
Three Big Bands;
A Symphony Orchestra;
Hybrid and electronic instruments.

European Final Project: Collaboration with the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra. At the end of your last year, you will have the opportunity of recording in Slovakia with the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra, responsible for recording most of the Spanish Soundtracks of the last years. Students will have the chance of recording their own music and direct the orchestra.

Thanks to the Erasmus+ programme and through the international cooperation agreements with other European higher music education institutions, Música Creativa offers its students the possibility of attending masterclasses and seminars of international referential composers and participating in international exchanges with our European partner institutions.
