The Board of MusiQuE – Music Quality Enhancement met in person in Brussels on 22 and 23 April to discuss and shape the organisation’s future strategic direction.

  •  A central focus of the meeting was the development of MusiQuE’s Strategy 2026–2030. Building on discussions held over several previous meetings, the Board finalised the Strategy, together with refreshed statements of mission, vision, and values. The Strategic Plan will be published on the MusiQuE website soon.
  • During the meeting, MusiQuE Board members also discussed the draft Communication Strategy, representing the first version of a renewed approach to the external communication. The discussion focused on the structure, priorities, and scope of the strategy, with particular attention to strengthening MusiQuE’s positioning and outreach. This initial draft will serve as a basis for further development.
  • Strengthening partnerships and external relations formed another key topic, with dedicated discussions on enhancing collaboration and mutual benefits with MusiQuE partner organisations (AEC, EMU, Pearle* Live Performance Europe and EAS) and other network organisations.
  • Internal quality assurance was also addressed through an analysis of feedback from MusiQuE review procedures. On this basis, the Board approved follow-up actions proposed by the Office, aimed at further enhancing the effectiveness and consistency of review processes.
