Two new opportunities to get involved with MusiQuE are currently open:

Call for MusiQuE Board member

MusiQuE has opened a call for nominations for a new Board member (3 years mandate to start in January 2022). The Board is responsible for all decision-making and further development in relation to the activities of MusiQuE. It is therefore the key entity in MusiQuE’s structure, and its composition, roles and responsibilities play a critical role in the effective and appropriate functioning of MusiQuE.

The MusiQuE Board consists of experts appointed on the basis of proposals by four organisations: the AEC, the European Music Schools Union (EMU), Pearle*-Live Performance Europe (the Performing Arts Employers’ Associations League Europe) and the European Association for Music in Schools (EAS). AEC member institutions are encouraged to recommend and nominate potential Board members. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 6 October 2021. More information can be found on MusiQuE’s website.

Peer-reviewer Training workshop

The MusiQuE Board and Office are looking forward to welcoming you to the next Peer-reviewers Training Workshop, on 25 October, 3-4 November 2021! The event will be held both online (25 October) and in person, at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, Belgium (3-4 October 2021).

The workshop aims to offer elements of training and professional development to potential and confirmed MusiQuE peer reviewers: representatives of higher music education institutions, students in higher music education, representatives of music schools and representatives of organisations from the music profession – experienced or not – interested in becoming peer reviewers for MusiQuE in the future or in reflecting on their experience and practice as peer reviewers, or with a general interest in quality assurance and accreditation in conservatoires.

Registrations are open until 10 October. More information on MusiQuE’s website.
