News in Map in Cyprus: training on entrepreneurship and leadership for administrative staff

The Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership Project News in Map organised a Staff Training week for administrative personnel working in higher music education institutions. The AEC attended with 3 staff representatives. The training took place in Larnaca (Cyprus) from Monday 27 September to 1 October and it was focused on entrepreneurship and leadership.

The training was delivered by teachers and researchers from the European University in Cyprus and covered relevant topics related to entrepreneurship and leadership such as business coaching, market research and marketing strategies, economic-financial forecasting, accounting, and sourcing investment among others.

This was the first time that project partners could meet in presence after the kick-off meeting at the end of 2019. The training was delivered in hybrid form to reach out also to the partners’ representatives who could not travel to Cyprus. News in Map is now organising a set of final multiplier events for the upcoming months in order to present the project results. The first will take place on 5 November in the framework of the AEC Annual Congress 2021 in Antwerp.
