The next Pop and Jazz Platform meeting 2020 will take place at the KASK & Conservatorium / School of Arts Gent, in Belgium, on 6-8 February 2020. Registration for the event are now open!

Following a huge success of last year’s edition, a World, Folk and Traditional music session will remain as part of the pre-conference programme. This meeting is addressed to all interested in further developing of world, traditional and folk music programs within the existing music educational programs.

Statement of Purpose “United in Diversity”.
The Pop and Jazz Working Group (PJP) meeting took place in Brussels in September 26-27, 2019. The WG has reworked its statement of purpose with aim to highlight the importance of inclusiveness and diversity in Higher Music Education Institutions. As one of the main goals of The PJP WG is to support the development of jazz, pop, folk, world music, and related programmes in the AEC’s membership institutions.
