On 19-21 April, the final conference of the HarMA+ project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, will take place in the frame of the HarMA International Seminar Event organised jointly by Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles and Akademia Muzyczna im Stanislawa Moniuszky w Gdansku in Gdansk, Poland.

This will be the third edition of the seminar, organised on a bi-annual basis, and will focus on internationalisation, digitisation, innovative teaching and e-learning practices.

The registrations are open for music theory faculties (harmony, music analysis, ear training teachers) from Higher Music Education (HME) institutions involved in the Erasmus+ Programme, at the following link: http://harma.eu.com/register-form. The deadline for registrations is 1st March 2023.

Created by Salvatore Gioveni (Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles), the goal of the HarMA International Seminar Event and HarMA+ project is to bring together music theory faculties (harmony, composition, music analysis, ear training teachers) from all across Europe, with the goal to share experiences and speak about their home institutions’ organisation and structure when it comes to education and pedagogical practices in the field of music theory.

The HarMA+ project aims to provide a platform to share knowledge, teaching practices, and innovative methodologies through presentations and training sessions.

The programme of this year’s HarMA International Seminar Event is now available on the official event website, and can be accessed here.

Moreover, on 18 April, the final HarMA+ Transnational Project Meeting will take place in Gdansk, gathering all project partners for a final in-presence meeting before the project ends.

The programme will include a presentation of intellectual and practical outputs developed by each project partner. Also, AEC, as coordinator of the communication and dissemination of the project outcomes, will present the impact the project has had at the European and international level.

HarMA+ is a strategic partnership funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme and coordinated by the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles.
