Within the RENEW project on Entrepreneurship (Reflective Entrepreneurial Music Education Wordclass), the six RENEW partner institutions* have jointly organized a set of two student bootcamps including an e-learning period of 1.5 months (in-between both bootcamps) dedicated to testing innovative formats and tools for teachers and students to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
The first bootcamp was hosted by the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in October 2017 and the second bootcamp was hosted by the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus in November 2017. The reports and material of this first set of bootcamps will be soon published under open access on the AEC website. The RENEW working groups are now working on the preparation of the upcoming project activities: 3 more student bootcamps and one teaching training event.

In addition, AEC is happy to announce that the final RENEW conference will take place on 28-29 September 2018 at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, in connection to the last student bootcamp of the project (for partners institutions only) and to a 5-day teacher training open to representatives of all AEC members. Both activities will take place simultaneously, although they will have different and independent programmes. The participants of the RENEW teacher training will be able to observe the development of the final student bootcamp and to attend some of its sessions. The registration for the RENEW conference will open on 1st March 2018.

Please save the date and do not hesitate to contact the RENEW management team should you be interested in receiving more information about the project.
