The path from being a music student to a successful professional is an amazing journey but is often very tough. Every journey needs a map and the NEWS in MAP project proposes a new map that has a fundamental step: self-leadership for a new employability.
What do music higher music education students think about leadership and employment possibilities after finishing higher education at music college? The project has designed a survey that asks students about their abilities, skills, knowledge and opinions relating to leadership. The survey has also been designed to measure whether leadership aspirations, competencies, confidence and conceptions vary by gender.
The NEWS in MAP project is looking for student perspectives on this topic and would like to ask higher music education students to fill in this questionnaire. It takes about 15-20 minutes and all information will be helpful for the research.
