The Reina Sofía School of Music (Madrid, Spain) celebrates the second edition of the conference "Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Classical Music". The first edition of the Conference was successfully organised in 2019 at the Reina Sofía School of Music, and was devoted to discussion of various aspects of entreprenership in the music field, including entrepreneurial skills, reaching new audiences and working in disadvantaged contexts.

The second Conference will reflect, among other things, on the challenges and opportunities the music sector faces after the Covid-19 pandemic. The event will take place on Friday 2 October from 10:00 to 13:30 and it will be broadcasted from the Sony Auditorium.

This conference takes place within the framework of the Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Innovation Program, developed by the School since the 2016-2017 academic year, in collaboration with the Banco Sabadell Foundation, the Daniel & Nina Carasso Foundation and the Edmond de Rothschild Foundations.

The conference will be available in English and Spanish, and it will be devoted to discussions on the situation of classical music after the pandemic, the role of social media in generating a community of followers, streaming platforms, issues of sustainability.
