The first multiplier event of the MUSense Project titled “New Frontiers in Music Performance” was organised by Yaşar University on 12-13 December 2022 at Yaşar Üniversitesi Selçuk Yaşar Campus as both an online and offline event with presentations by project partners from Palermo Conservatoire, Malmö Academy of Music, Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, Ionian University and the AEC. The event was followed also by the interaction with an external audience willing to learn about the presented initiatives.
The central feature of MUSense is to educate and forge higher music education staff and students in order to acquire and embrace the digital shift while improving skills in cyber and live innovative performances, involving renewed art practices.
During the event, music & art experts and teachers exchanged ideas and shared experiences, projects and best practices in the use of technologies in music teaching and performance. Results of the first project output were presented to test the target groups’ responses, satisfaction and readiness to use the outputs. Moreover, feedback was received in view of the outputs’ final improvement and the start of the testing phase. Finally, the event was concluded with the internal evaluation of the outputs.
