The 25th Edition of the AEC Annual Meeting for International Relations Coordinators will take place at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary, on 17-20 September 2025 under the title “The Great Mobility Compass: exploration, navigation and direction in the future of internationalisation”.
This year’s dynamic programme, put together by a renewed IRC working group, features a blend of technical sessions, strategic discussions, and community exchange. In-depth pre-conference workshops will cover the digitisation of Erasmus+, mobility procedures and project funding opportunities.
The event will put on the spotlight Erasmus+ KA171 projects in Africa, featuring guest speaker Stella Mendonça from Mozambique and an international panel reflecting on the current trends of mobility in our sector. Attendees will explore topics such as AI in international offices, student well-being and power relations, grade conversion, international internships and tips and tricks from project evaluators. The event also promises rich cultural experiences and networking opportunities, including a concert by the Erasmus Orchestra, a scenic Danube boat trip and the usual final food sharing.
