The AEC Pop and Jazz Platform 2024, titled “HANDS ON! Methods, skills and sustainability for a future in music” will take place in Odense, Denmark, on 8 – 11 February. This event will feature plenaries, parallel sessions, and discussion groups, all centred around the theme of exploring practical approaches and sustainable practices in the music industry.
We are excited to introduce a new hands-on experience for our participants this year: attendees will have the opportunity to deeply engage with the valuable insights, observations, and teaching methods of our community members through workshops conducted by selected applicants from our call for contributions, launched in September.
In addition to the usual Keynote speeches and Open Floor presentations, these workshops serve a dual purpose: They aim to foster dynamic conversations on the sustainable future of the profession while equipping attendees with practical tools and methods.
