General Information
The Frescobaldi Conservatory is a place where knowledge and tradition nurture the music of the future, through multiple opportunities for cultural exchange and integration. With its own choral and orchestral ensembles, the latter hosted by the ‘Claudio Abbado’ Municipal Theatre, and numerous chamber music ensembles, the Frescobaldi carries out intense collaborations with prestigious local institutions, organisations and associations, including the Casa Cini Foundation and the Torrione Jazz Club Ferrara, thus fully implementing the first article of its Statute. In order to improve its quality parameters, the Conservatoire systematically evaluates its artistic, teaching, research, administrative and welfare activities through various control bodies and participates in numerous discussion and civic engagement forums. Finally, with great care, it presides over the technical and cultural musical training of students, so that the acquisition of knowledge, methodologies, experience and skills are commensurate with the student's qualification
