The AEC family is growing!

During the first months of 2026, AEC welcomed six new members from Europe and beyond.

Ranging from long-standing institutions to newer ones, and representing both contemporary and established approaches, these new members bring a diversity of experiences and expertise that is key to the network.

The admission decisions were taken during our last Council meeting in March and the ExCom meeting in June.

Among them, we count three new active members:

And three associate members:

Some of the institutions’ representatives gathered for the first time during an online meeting dedicated to new members on 28 May. It was an opportunity to introduce AEC’s activities and explore how members can contribute to the growth, development, and exchange of practices within the network.

We hope you will have the chance to meet them at our upcoming events!

Interested in joining the network?

AEC believes that the core of the network lies in its members: their ideas, the professionals active within their institutions, and the knowledge and experience they bring are all key to the development of the music education sector at national, European, and international level.

For this reason, we are always happy to welcome new members and offer them opportunities for international exchange, insights into the latest developments in the field, and much more.
