EPARM Working Group
Context
The EPARM Working Group brings together experts from AEC member institutions to support the development of artistic research within Higher Music Education and to contribute to AEC’s activities in this field. The group promotes exchange, collaboration, and reflection on current developments and challenges, helping to strengthen the role of artistic research across the sector.
Work plan
The related Working Group’s primary efforts are centered on organizing the EPARM annual conference and sustaining educational initiatives:
- Annual Conference: For 2026, the group is hosting the “Alone-Together” conference in Oslo, featuring keynotes, round tables, and artistic performances.
- Artistic Research Education (ARE): This initiative builds on the legacy of previous projects like REACT and RappLab. It includes an ongoing webinar series designed to support collective action and pedagogical development in the research field.
