Updates

The newly established EPASA – European Performing Arts Students’ Association held its inaugural Congress and General Assembly on 22 and 23 April 2023, online. This was the first known conference for performing arts students to come together and discuss topics and policies. The conference served as a platform for the students to share their ideas and discuss a range of topics including the green agenda, diversity, championing student voice, digitisation, internationalisation, etc. During the EPASA GA, a new board was elected forming a dynamic team of passionate individuals dedicated to advancing the interests and aspirations of performing arts students across Europe.

EPASA organised a student-led session at the AEC Congress 2023 in The Hague with the objective of empowering arts and music students. The AEC Annual Congress 2023 served as an important moment for EPASA to strengthen its advocacy actions and contribute meaningfully to the discourse surrounding the future of performing arts education. The  EPASA-led sessions contributed to establishing a platform where the students could exchange ideas and discuss future plans, aligning to encourage collaboration and plan for student empowerment.
